4 or 5 lbs. rump roast
Oil
Salt and pepper

Onion, sliced
1 clove of garlic

1 pkg. Au Jus mix
2 cups water
1 can of mushroom soup

Directions:
Directions:
Brush roast with oil, salt and pepper. Place in 350º oven for hour.

Slice onion and mince a garlic clove and arrange on top.

Combine 1 pkg. of Au Jus mix (any brand) with 2 cups water and 1 can of mushroom soup. Pour over meat and cook another 1½ hours. Remove and cool so meat can be sliced. Place slices back in pan of juice and cook until slices are fork tender.

Freeze some slices in broth. They freeze okay.

Buy your rump roast on sale and freeze until needed, then cook. (Thaw first.)
