1 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
2 cups plain flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
4 eggs
2 cups sugar
4 Tablespoons plain flour
4 Tablespoons lemon juice
Powdered sugar for sprinkling

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together the butter, 1/2 cup sugar and 2 cups flour and salt. Press mixture into a 9 X 13" baking pan and bake at 350º for 20-25 minutes, until lightly brown. While bottom layer bakes, mix together eggs, 2 cups sugar, 4 Tablespoons flour and lemon juice. Pour on top of the first mixture as it comes out of the oven from baking. Return to oven, baking 20-25 minutes at 350º. While hot, sprinkle the top with powdered sugar. Cool, then cut into small squares to serve.
