1 bag of Gardein beefless ground (you can buy it at Whole foods or Giant.)
1 carrot (washed and cut up into bite sized pieces)
1-2 cans of Pennsylvania Dutchman mushrooms (or any type of canned mushrooms you like) drained
1 bag of frozen peas or fresh if you prefer (I used fresh)
3-4 ears of corn (boiled, drained, and kernels cut off the cob)
1 medium sweet yellow onion cut up
Salt
Pepper
1 tsp of minced garlic
1/4 cup of red or white wine (I used white because it was what I had on hand)
1 tbs of flour
1/2 cup of chicken or beef broth
1 bag of premade mashed potatoes
1/2 cup of vegan shredded cheese
1 tsp of Worcestershire sauce
Vegetable oil

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees
2. In a large sautee pan add vegetable oil. Sautee onion, garlic, salt, pepper, mushrooms, and carrots.
3. Once vegetables begin to soften then add the wine
4. Stir in beef and cook until browned
5. Stir in peas, corn, and flour
6. Stir in chicken or beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and any salt and pepper to taste
7. Cook premade mashed potatoes according to package directions
8. Pour beef mixture into a 8*8 baking dish
9. Spread mashed potatoes on top and sprinkle cheese on top
10. Bake in preheated oven for about 20 minutes until cheese is melted and top is slightly brown

The first time I made this dish for one of my friends who had a baby, I didn't know how it was going to turn out. They said it was delicious! I hope you enjoy it too.
