¾ cup minced onion
1½ cups chopped celery
½ cup butter
1 lb. sausage (maple or sage)
1 can cream of chicken soup
4-5 cups crumbled cornbread
4-5 cups soft white bread cubed
Salt to taste
1½ tsp. crushed sage leaves
1 tsp. thyme leaves
½ tsp. pepper
Golden raisins, plumped
¼ sugar

Directions:
Directions:
In large skillet, cook and stir sausage until well done. Remove sausage from skillet. Wipe skillet. Add butter to skillet, sauté onions and celery in melted butter until onion is tender. Add raisins and sausage. Add sage, thyme, salt, pepper and cream of chicken soup. When soup is heated and mixed well with other ingredients, turn into large bowl. Add corn bread and bread cubes. Mix well. Add chicken broth if mixture is too dry. Adjust seasonings, if necessary. Turn into large baking dish. Bake at 350º for 30 minutes.
