Texas Style Tortilla Soup Recipe

1 medium Onion, chopped
2 Garlic Cloves minced
2 T Vegetable Oil
28 oz can Whole Tomatoes
10½ oz can Condensed Beef Broth
10½ oz can Condensed Chicken Broth
10½ oz can Condensed Tomato Soup
1 c Water
½ c Pace Picante Sauce (I use less, season to taste)
2 t Worcestershire Sauce
1 t Ground Cumin
1 t Chili Powder
4 Corn Tortillas, cut in ½" wedges
½ c Cheddar Cheese, grated

(Shredded Chicken)
(Cut Corn)

Directions:
Directions:
Cook onion and garlic in oil in Dutch Oven until onion is tender but not brown; drain well. Drain and coarsely chop tomatoes reserving juice. Add tomatoes and juice to Dutch Oven with remaining ingredients except tortillas and cheese. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 1 hour, Add tortillas and continue simmering 10 minutes. Ladle into soup bowls, sprinkle with cheese and serve with additional picante sauce. Can add Chicken and cut corn.
