Directions:Cinnamon Rolls: Once dough has doubled in size and you punch it down, move dough to a floured pastry board and roll out to 1/4 inch thickness into a large rectangle. Melt butter ( we like a lot of the sugar filling so it oozes out of the cinnamon roll). Cover rolled out dough with brown sugar and cinnamon then drizzle melted butter over it to soak into the sugar. You can actually do as much of this as you want...there's nothing worse than a dry cinnamon roll with little flavor. Roll dough up from longest side. Slice and put in well buttered baking pan with sides touching. Bake at 350º for 25 minutes or until golden on top. You may use the same glaze as for donuts on them if you wish. There's enough goo in ours we don't glaze them.
Donuts - Roll dough out to about 3/4 inch thickness and cut out donuts. Heat oil. It should be deep enough that donuts can float. Fry till golden brown and move to a cooling wrack that has wax paper or parchment paper under it. Drizzle with glaze. |
