CORNBREAD RECIPE
4 cups Indian Head Corn Meal (1 32
ounce package)
6 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons salt
1/2 cup olive oil - heated in cast iron pan
2-1/2 cups milk
2 eggs

Baking Cornbread
Preheat oven to 425
Combine all ingredients in bowl
Beat
Bake for 30 minutes

While cornbread cooks, chop up the
following:
3 onions - medium size
1 bunch celery
2 bunches parsley - fresh
1-3 Tablespoons Sage (dried)
1-3 Tablespoons Thyme (dried)
Basil - fresh
2 quarts chicken broth plus 4 cups
6 slices toasted bread

Combine everything adding 3 eggs.
Place in greased baking dish at 400
degrees for 45 minutes.
