2 lbs ground beef
1 egg
2 pieces of white bread
1 can golden mushroom soup
2 packs brown gravy mix
2 onions

Directions:
Directions:
Chop 2 onions. Sauté chopped onions in large pan then place onions aside. Wet 2 pieces of bread with water, squeeze out, then break into tiny pieces and sprinkle onto meat. Mix bread, egg and meat in a bowl then pat out into 4 large football-shaped patties. Add salt, pepper, garlic powder and Tony's to taste. Cook 4 patties, drain, then set aside. *KEEP grease from meat if you want to use it with your gravy!* Cook 2 packs of brown gravy mix according to packages. Add golden mushroom soup to gravy. Place hamburger steaks back in pan with gravy mixture and onions. Simmer on low for about 20 mins. Serve with homemade mashed potatoes!
