1 unbaked Pie Shell, 9" deep (may be cooked 5 minutes or less to keep pie from being soggy)

1 stick of Margarine or Butter
2 c Sugar
4 Eggs
1 t Vanilla
1 t Vinegar
1 t Cornmeal

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter, add sugar, beat eggs and add to sugar mixture then add vanilla, vinegar and cornmeal. Beat well by hand and pour into pie shell (crust).

Bake in 350º oven for 30 minutes. Shake gentle, if it doesn't shake in the middle it's done. Be careful not to overcook!

This recipe was copied from handwritten copy of Hannah Lou Hall Mays written on 11/21/1999 (married 11/22/1951). "This recipe has been in the Graham family a long time. Mother got this recipe from her mother, Hannah Parlisa Bond Graham who passed away on 8/28/1941. At that time it was said it had been in the family for 80 years. Myra Graham married in 1917 and her Mother married in 1887."
