2 T (30 ml) oil
1 large onion (chopped)
1 green pepper, chopped
1 carrots
1 celery stalks
3/4 lb (375 g) ground beef
1 can Unico tomatoes 28 oz. (796) drained
1 can Unico red kidney beans 19 oz. (540 ml) drained
3 T tomato paste
1 tsp. chili powder (optional)
½ tsp. oregano
¼ tsp. crushed chillies (very optional)
Salt to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Sauté onion and garlic in oil for 10 min. over medium heat.
Add meat and brown.
Add can of tomatoes, green pepper, carrot, celery, beans, tomato paste, spices and mix thoroughly.
Add salt to taste and simmer for 2 hours. Serve with french bread and caesar salad!
