Ingredients:
Ingredients:
3-4 lb chicken, bone-in
Onion
Celery
Salt & Pepper
--Mom, I cook carrots with the chicken. Stain the broth after it's cooked down, cook and boil longer after chicken is removed. Save the carrots and chop, add to the chicken & noodles when you add the chicken.

--Mom, I also sometimes use cream of mushroom soup and add parsley flakes when adding chicken and carrots.

Directions:
Directions:
1. Boil 3-4 lb chicken with onion, celery, salt & pepper (see Mom's note) for about 1 hour or until chicken falls off the bone.
2. Remove the chicken, cool and remove meat from skin and bones.
3. See Mom's note: To chicken broth, add 1-2 cans of cream of chicken soup.
4. Bring to a boil, stirring often.
5. Add noodles and boil about 15 to 20 minutes until noodles are done to your liking (too long makes them mushy).
6. Sprinkle in chicken meat (See Mom's note) and cook 5 minutes more, also add parsley flakes.
