1 ½ cups dark Karo syrup
1 ¼ cups sugar
6 tsp butter
4 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups pecans chopped
pinch of salt

Directions:
Directions:
Boil sugar and syrup for 3 minutes. Beat eggs until well blended,. melt butter in hot syrup mixture and slowly add in egg mixture beating constantly so that the eggs do not cook. Add vanilla, salt and pecans. Pour into pie shells. Bake 350º approximately 35 minutes or until solid.
