1 lb mushrooms, cleaned and sliced
6 tablespoons butter
1 cup dry sherry
Dash of salt
Minced garlic (optional)

(If you want to make this an appetizer, add 1/4 cup brandy and 1/2 cup heavy cream)

Directions:
Directions:
Simmer mushrooms in butter and sherry until liquid is almost evaporated. Serve with steak.

(If making the appetizer, once the liquid is almost evaporated, add brandy, heat and ignite. Heat 1/2 cup heavy cream, add salt and pour over mushrooms. Serve on toast triangles)
