1/2 cup butter
1 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup milk
2 cups fruit
3/4 cup sugar for fruit

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in 10" baking dish. Mix flour, sugar baking powder. Add milk and mix. Drip by spoonfuls over melted butter.

In a saucepan, combine fruit with 3/4 cup sugar. Heat until sugar is dissolved, then pour over dough.

Bake at 350º about 30 minutes, until golden brown.

I always double this recipe and use a 9 x 13 pan. It's so good, you want to have a lot of it, especially with ice cream!
