3 cups flour
1 cup sugar
3 T poppy seeds
1 T baking powder
2 tsp lemon peel
1 tsp salt
10 T cold butter, cut into small pieces
1 egg whisked with 2 T lemon juice

1/3 cup milk

Directions:
Directions:
Process all ingredients except milk in food processor until moist clumps form. Add milk until dough ball forms.

Flatten dough into an 8" round and cut into 8 wedges.

Brush with milk, sprinkle with sugar, and bake at 325º for 25 minutes.
