¾ c. sugar
¾ c. brown sugar
⅔ c. flour
dash salt
6 egg yolks
4 c. milk
1 20-oz. can pineapple, drained
1 tsp. vanilla
¾ stick butter

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugars, flour and salt. Add enough milk to make paste. Add the egg yolks. Slowly add the remainder of the milk, then the pineapple. Cook and stir over medium heat until beginning to thicken. Add the butter and vanilla and continue to cook until well combined and thick. Pour into baked pie shell and top with meringue or cool completely and serve with Cool Whip.
