1 lb. bay scallops*
2 tbsp. butter
¼ c. olive oil
1/8 c. dry vermouth
Shallots
½ tsp. minced garlic
½ tsp. salt
Pinch of pepper
1½ tbsp. chopped parsley


*1 lb. of peeled and deveined shrimp may be substituted for scallops.

Directions:
Directions:
Combine butter, oil, vermouth, lemon juice, shallots, garlic, salt, pepper and chopped parsley. Mix well. Pour over scallops in broiler proof dish, broil 3 to 4 minutes. Turn and broil an additional 3 to 4 minutes. Serve over your favorite pasta.

Serves: 3 to 4.
