1cup shortening
1 1/2 cups sugar
3 eggs
3 cups unsifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 9oz. package of classic original condensed
mincemeat in box. (wet jar does not make
as good a cookie) Crumble with hands into
pieces.

Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a large mixing bowl beat shortening,
and sugar until fluffy, add eggs and mincemeat and beat until the
mincemeat is well folded into the mixture. (This is the different part)
Stir together dry ingredients and then slowly add to shortening mixture. Mix well.
Drop by rounded teaspoons two inches apart on well greased cookie sheet.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes. Cool.
