Heath Bar Cake Recipe

2 c. brown sugar
½ c. butter or margarine
1 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
2 c. flour
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla
6 Heath Bars (full size)
½ c. pecans, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Stir sugar into flour. Mix well. Cut in butter until it resembles crumbs. Measure 1 cup and set aside. Add remaining ingredients. Beat. Pour into greased and floured 9 X 13 pan. Break Heath Bars with a hammer and add to 1 cup reserved mixture. Add pecans. Sprinkle on cake and bake at 350º for 30-35 minutes.

This is a recipe my sister, Janean Langham used to make when I was young and I loved it! Since it is an older recipe I am guessing you could now get the Heath Bar bits and not have to get out that hammer!
