1-3lb pork sirloin roast
1/2tsp salt
1/2tsp pepper
1Tbsp cooking oil
2 medium onions, cut into thin wedges
1c root beer (not diet)
2Tbsp minced garlic
3c root beer
1c bottled chili sauce
1/4tsp root beer concentrate (optional)
Several dashes bottled hot pepper sauce (Optional)
8-10 hamburger buns, split and toasted

Directions:
Directions:
Trim fat from meat. Sprinkle roast with salt and pepper and brown on all sides in hot oil in a large skillet. Place meat in crock pot. Add onions, 1c root beer and garlic. Cook on low 8-10 hours or on high for 4-5 hours. Meanwhile, for sauce, in a medium saucepan combine 3c root beer and 1c chili sauce. Bring to a boil then reduce heat to a gentle boil uncovered, stirring occasionally for about 30 minutes or until reduced to 2 cups. If desired, now stir in root beer concentrate and bottled hot pepper sauce. Remove meat and onions from pot and shred meat. Discard cooking juices. Prepare buns with lettuce and tomato if desired. Add meat, onions and spoon on prepared sauce.
