Veal and Mushrooms Recipe

2 lbs boneless veal (cut to large bite-size pieces)
2 Tbsp oil
1 ˝ C white wine
2 Tbsp instant or freshly chopped onions
2 C fresh sliced mushrooms
2 ˝ Tbsp cornstarch (for thickening)
1 ˝ C half and half
⅓ C parmesan cheese
Rice or noodles

Directions:
Directions:
Sprinkle veal with salt and pepper. Sauté in oil until browned.
Add the wine and minced onions.
Cover and cook slowly until meat is tender (35-45 minutes - test for tenderness).
Add 2 C, fresh sliced mushrooms and cook about 5 minutes

Stir the cornstarch into the half and half. Stir until smooth or shake together in a jar.
Add slowly to the veal, stirring constantly until the mixture starts to slightly boil and gravy is thickened.
Stir in ⅓ C parmesan cheese.

Spoon over rice or noodles and serve.
