8 medium sliced potatoes
1/4 cup chopped green peppers
1/4 cup minced onion
2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup
1 cup milk
1/2 cup grated cheese

Directions:
Directions:
In a bowl put seasonings over sliced potatoes, onion and green peppers, then toss to distribute seasonings. Put vegetable mixture evenly in a buttered (13x9) casserole dish. Mix soup and milk and pour over the potatoes and vegetables. Top with cheese. Cover and bake at 350º for 1 1/2 hours

This was one of my favorite ways that mama cooked potatoes. She fixed these for special meals or holidays. The picture of the recipe is in mama's hand writing.
