4 Roma tomatoes
4-6 Tomatillos
1 medium yellow onion
2-4 Serrano chili peppers
3-5 cloves of fresh garlic peeled
1 bunch of cilantro, well rinsed and chopped
4 dried chilies de arbol
1 can of chilies in adobo sauce
salt to taste

Using a large cooking sheet, cover in slightly crumpled aluminum foil. Slice the onion in half and place cut side down, add the Roma's, Tomatillos, serrano's, and garlic. Place in oven on high broil for 10 minutes or until beginning to char. Turn everything over half way through and remove the serrano's and garlic. Heat the chilies de arbol in a dry skillet for about 4-6 minute, be sure not to burn them.
Place all ingredients into a food processer, including the cilantro and chilies in adobo sauce and blend well. Chill and serve with tortilla chips, it's also delicious on eggs and tacos!!
