4 c. chopped ham
1 onion, dices
2 T. butter
olive oil
2 carrots, diced
1 garlic clove, minced
1 celery rib, chopped
1 bay lear
1 c. white wine
2 c. chicken broth
1 c. sour cream
1 can Great Northern beans, undrained
¾ c. corn
1 tsp. salt
¼ tsp. pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Melt 1 tablespoon butter over medium heat. Fry ham pieces in hot butter until lightly browned, about 4 minutes.

Melt 1 tablespoon butter in a large saucepan. Cook and stir onion, carrots and garlic in hot butter until softened and onion is translucent, about 5 minutes.

Pur undrained beans into vegetables. Add ham and pour in chicken broth. Stir in bay leaf. Season with salt and pepper.

Bring soup to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer 25 minutes. Remove bay leaf. Add sour cream and stir until well blended and heated throughout.
