Escargot with Port or Brandy


Ingredients:

6 large mushroom caps
6 escargot
1 tbsp. olive oil
˝ tsp. chopped garlic

Directions:
Directions:
Heat pan over medium heat, pour in oil, add caps and escargot and cook until tender. Add garlic to hot pan and sauté. To serve: Arrange snail in mushroom center and pour a little garlic oil over the snail.

6 tbsp. butter
2 cloves chopped garlic
1 tsp. parsley
1 tsp. chives
Dash port or brandy

Directions:
Directions:
Remove snails. Combine ingredients (reserve small amount of butter) and fill shells; Add snails. Top with the remaining butter and bake at 400 degrees F until done.
