2 ¼ cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
½ cup soft butter
¾ cup sugar
¾ cup light brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
1 ⅓ cup (8 oz.) Heath toffee bits
1 ¾ cup milk chocolates
1 tbsp. shortening

Directions:

Heat oven to 350º.

Stir together flour, baking soda and salt. Beat butter, both sugars and vanilla in a different bowl. Add eggs and beat well. Gradually add to the flour mixture. Blend well then add the toffee bits and drop by spoomfuls onto greased cookie sheets.

Bake 9 - 11 minutes or until light brown. Cool completely.

Place milk chocolate and shortening in bowl and microwave until melted when stirred.

Dip about ⅓ of each cookie in chocolate removing excess. Place on a rack with wax papper under it to catch any drips.
