2 cups flour
1 cup brown sugar
½ cup soft butter
1 cup pecans

Caramel Layer:
⅔ cup butter
½ cup brown sugar
6 oz. chocolate chips

Crust:
Heat oven to 350º. Combine all crust ingredients except pecans. Beat until particles are fine. Press into 13 x 9 pan. Sprinkle pecans over crust.

Caramel Layer:
In a one quart saucepan combine butter and brown sugar. Cook over medium heat until it comes to a full boil. Boil stirring until it reaches 242º (about one minute). Pour evenly over pecans and crust. Bake 18 - 22 minutes or until the caramel layer is bubbly. Remove from oven and sprinkle with chocolate chips. Swirl the melted chocolate cool and cut into squares.
