3 C cubed bread
1 C milk
1 C cider
1/4 tsp salt
2 beaten eggs
1/2 C sugar
1/2 C honey
1 tsp vanilla
1 T lemon juice
1 C applesauce
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp nutmeg
1 T butter

Directions:
Directions:
Combine milk, cider and salt in a bowl. soak bread cubes about 10 minutes. In another bowl combine eggs, sugar, honey, and applesauce mixed with lemon juice. Pour first mixture into a greased casserole dish. Pour second mixture over it. Sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg and dot with butter. Set dish in a pan of hot water.
Bake at 350 º 50-60 minutes.
