½ c onion, chopped
½ c ketchup
½ c brown sugar
⅓ c vinegar
2 cans green beans, drained
3 strips bacon, chopped and fried
Directions:
Directions:
Cook onion, ketchup, brown sugar, and vinegar until thick. Layer beans, bacon, and sauce and bake at 350º for ½ hour.

This recipe was one of mom's favorites for a potluck. She had a lot of them, since church always had potlucks! It's easy and tasty and a good way to get kids to eat green beans, especially at a barbecue.
