Ingredients: 1 loaf French Bread 4 lg eggs 2 C millk 1 T. sugar ¼ tsp. salt 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:Preheat oven to 350º. Coat a 9 x 13 X 2- inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray. Thinly slice French bread into ½-inch thick slices. Arrange a layer of bread slices (fit snuggly together) in bottom of prepared pan. In a medium mixing bowl, combine eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, and salt. Blend well. Drizzle 1 cup of egg mixture over bread slices in bottom of pan. |

Ingredients: 8 oz. cream cheese, softened 1 c. ricotta cheese ¼ c. sugar 1 c. mini semi-sweet chocolate morsels Freshly grated zest of 1 orange Orange marmalade, for topping

Directions: |
Directions:Blend together cream cheese, ricotta cheese and sugar. Stir in chocolate and orange zest. Using a large offset spatula, evenly spread filling over bottom layer. Top with additional bread slices, fit snuggly together. Pour remaining egg mixture over top layer. Press to soak bread. Cover pan tightly with foil. Bake for 1 hour. Remove from oven and let stand for 10 minutes before serving. Serve each portion with a spoonful of orange marmalade to top.
