Marbled Brownies Recipe

1 package Brownie mix (family size), preferably Duncan Hines
2 packages (3 oz. each) cream cheese, softened
5 T. butter (softened)
⅓ c. sugar
2 eggs
2 T. all-purpose flour
¾ t. vanilla extract

1 can Creamy Homestyle Frosting

Preheat oven to 350º

Grease bottom of 9x13 pan.

Place softened cream cheese and softened butter in a medium bowl. Beat at low speed with electric mixer until creamy. Add sugar, eggs, flour and vanilla. Beat until smooth and set aside.

Prepare brownie mix, using cakelike recipe on box. (ingredients are not listed here)

Spread half of brownie mix into greased pan. Pour all of the cream cheese mixture over the brownie batter. Spoon remaining brownie batter in spots over top. Swirl two mixtures together with a knife or spatula. Bake at 350º for 36-39 minutes or until set. Cool completely. Frost with your favorite Creamy Homestyle Frosting.

Cut into squares and serve.
