2 packages dry yeast
3 T. warm water
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup oil
2 beaten eggs
1 cup warm water (105-115 degrees)
1/2 t. salt
4-4 1/2 cups flour-divided














Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in 3 T warm water in a large mixing bowl-let stand 5 minutes.
Add sugar and oil, eggs, 1 cup warm water, salt, and 2 cups flour. Beat at low speed 1 minute. Gradually stir in enough flour to make soft dough. Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead 4 minutes or until smooth and elastic. Shape dough into ball and place in well greased bowl turning to grease top. Cover and let rise in warm place 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Punch down and shape into rolls. Let rise and then bake in 350 oven for approx. 15 minutes.

This is the roll recipe in my head! I have made it so often over the years. Recipe is typed as received but I do shortcuts--one bowl, dissolve yeast in cup of water, knead in bowl......
