1 c butter (softened)
6 tbsp sifted powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 tsp cold water
2 c flour
1½ c pecan (chopped)
Additional powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl, cream together butter & powdered sugar until light and fluffy. Add vanilla and water.
Beat in flour & add pecans. Grease hands and make into balls about 1" or so diameter. Place on ungreased cookie sheet or cookie sheet covered with parchment paper.
Bake in 300º oven for 35-40 minutes (do not brown) Roll cookies in additional powdered sugar while still warm.
Makes 3 dozen.
