CUT 1 FLANK STEAK LENGTHWISE (WITH THE GRAIN) INTO 1/4 INCH STRIPS.

COMBINE:
1/3 C. SOY SAUCE
1 SMALL CLOVE GARLIC - CRUSHED
1/8 t. EACH SALT AND PEPPER
1/4 C. BROWN SUGAR

MIX WITH STEAK STRIPS AND LET STAND AT LEAST 15 MINUTES. DRAIN. ARRANGE ON RACK IN SHALLOW BAKING PAN (BROILER PAN WORKS). BAKE @ 150 DEGREES OVERNIGHT OR 12 HOURS. CUT AND STORE IN TIGHTLY COVERED CONTAINER.
