4 pork chops, trim any fat
¼ tsp. salt
¼ tsp. pepper
14 tsp. garlic powder
1 T. Avocado oil
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
2 apples, cored, peeled and chopped
1 T. brown sugar
1 c. apple juice
1 lb. sauerkraut, drained and rinsed
1 c. white wine
½ tsp caraway seeds

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°. Season both sides of the pork chops with salt and pepper to taste, and garlic powder.
In sauté pan over medium heat, add avocado oil. Brown pork chops on both sides, about 4 minutes each side. Remove pork chops and set aside.. Sauté onions.

In a casserole dish, combine sautéed onions, quartered apple, brown sugar, apple juice and drained sauerkraut. Add browned pork chops and combine so that pork chops are somewhat covered with the sauerkraut and juices.

Cover the casserole dish with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Pork chops should be tender and no longer pink.
