French bread cut into 1 inch slices

8 eggs

2 cups milk

2 tsp vanilla

1 tsp cinnamon

1/2 butter

2 tbsp corn syrup

1 and 1/3 cup brown sugar

1 cup chopped walnuts

Grease a 9 x 13 pan, glass

Preheat oven to 350º

Place bread on the bottom of the pan

Beat eggs, milk, vanilla and pour over bread

Cream the remaining ingredients

Spread over the egg and bread mixture

Sprinkle with nuts

Cover and refrigerate overnight

The next morning, let the casserole sit out at room temperature for 30 minutes before baking for one hour.

Leaving out in the morning at room temperature is really helpful to keep the cooking time to one hour.
