Spaghetti Sauce Recipe

1 lb ground beef
medium onion; finely chopped
green pepper; finely chopped
1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
1 (6 oz) can tomato paste
1 envelope Italian spaghetti sauce mix with mushrooms
1 cup water
1 tsp sugar
tsp oregano
1 clove garlic; crushed
1 bay leaf

Cook and stir ground beef, onion and green pepper until meat is brown and onion is tender.

Stir in remaining ingredients.


Simmer 1 hours, stirring sauce occasionally.

Serve over noodles and freeze left over sauce for a later meal.
