2 pkgs yeast
1 cup water
2 teaspoons sugar
6 whole eggs
1 cup sugar 1 cup oil 2 cups water 1 teaspoon salt
1 cup raisins juice and rind of 1 lemon
approximately 9 cups of flour Enough to make a soft dough

Directions:
Directions:
Mix water, sugar and yeast. Let stand 10 minutes.

Beat eggs, sugar and oil together well.

Mix flour, raisins and salt together. Add the rest of the ingredients and knead well to form a soft dough. Let rise 1 hour or until double in size. Punch down and let rise again. Put into well greased cans and let rise. Bake at 325 degrees for 30 to 45 minutes.

OR some recipes state to bake at 325 degrees for 10 minutes and then lower heat to 250 degrees and bake for 25 to 30 minutes more.
