Cranberry Jello Salad Recipe

1-6 oz. package cherry jello
1 can whole berry cranberry sauce

1 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 small can undrained, crushed pineapple
1 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve cherry jello in 2 cups hot water.

Add 1 can whole berry crannberry sauce. Mix well.

Pour ½ of gelatin mixture into a 7x11 bowl, or to serve a larger group, pour into a 13 x 9 glass baking dish..

Chill to set.

Mix cream cheese, crushed pineapple and nuts.

Spread over "set" gelatin.

Pour remaining gelatin over all and Chill overnight.

Always a favorite with ham at Easter or with turkey at Thanksgiving. My recollection of this is that we always had 2. One with nuts and one without nuts (for Mike Shaw)!
