1 quart green tomatoes
2 large green bell peppers
2 large red bell peppers
3 cups of vinegar
1 tbsp dry mustard
2 tsp celery seed
2 large onions
1 medium head of cabbage
½ cup of salt
2½ cups of sugar
1 tsp turmeric

Directions:
Directions:
Coarsely grind vegetables add salt and stir well. Let stand overnight.
Squeeze out liquid in the ground vegetables and add vinegar sugar dry mustard turmeric and celery seed. Cooks slowly for 1 hour or until consistency is preferred. You can add this mixture to jars and sterilize and seal
