⅓ cup sugar
1 T. cornstarch
1 cup water
2 T. soft butter or oleo
tsp. grated lemon rind
1 T. fresh lemon juice
dash of salt

Directions:
Directions:
Use double boiler pan over boiling water. Combine starch and water. Stir till thickened. Remove from heat. Add other ingredients. Serve over bread pudding, rice, pound cake, etc. If not using a double boiler, cook over medium heat and stir constantly using your pancake flipper as it will cover the bottom of the pan.
