2 or 3 Celery Stalks
1 or 2 Onions
1-3 Fresh Bay Leaves
2-3 Whole Garlic Cloves
Other Seasonings As You Like, including Salt
1 Tbsp. Olive or Coconut Oil

Put it all in a large pot - bring to a boil then lower heat to simmer. Cook until the celery and onion are soft, then strain the solid ingredients out.

When the temperatures drop, I love to make soups! I don't have specific soup recipes. I make this common broth and add any combination of the following:

Pre-cooked and in no particular order or combination:
Rice,Barley, Quinoa, Couscous, Lentils, Potatoes (I prefer the small ones, cut in half), Sweet Potatoes, Squash, Carrots,Green Beans

No Pre-cooking needed:
Kale, Spinach, Frozen Vegetables like corn or peas and Canned Vegetables, like corn or beans, rinsed (my favorite is black beans)
