1 lb. dry navy beans ( soak overnight)
2 quarts water
1 lb. meaty ham bones or pieces of ham
salt to taste
5 whole peppercorns or tsp. pepper
cup shopped celery leaves
1 med. onion, chopped
1 bay leaf

Put all ingredients in Crockpot cover and cook on low for 10 to 12 hrs
High for 5-6 hours
