1 c (2 sticks) butter, softened
1/2 c powdered sugar
1/2 t vanilla
2 c all purpose flour
1/8 t salt
2 c finely chopped pecans
1 1/2 c powdered sugar (for rolling cookies)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.

With a mixer, mix butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla. Combine flour, salt and nuts. Stir together. Roll into 1 in balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake for 15 minutes, until lightly browned.

Roll hot cookies into bowl of powered sugar. Cool.

Roll cookies again in powdered sugar to coat.


Makes about 5 dozen cookies
