7 oz. Cherrios
7 oz. Wheat Chex
7 oz. Rice Chex
1 pkg. pretzel sticks
1 pkg. corn chips
1 lb. mixed nuts

1 stick butter
½ c. oil
1 tsp. garlic powder or garlic salt

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter and mix with oil. Add garlic powder or salt. Stir well. Place all dry ingredients except nuts in baking pan and pour the butter/oil mixture over it. Bake in 250º oven for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. After the first ½ hour, add the nuts and the 2nd stick of melted butter. Store cooled mix in airtight tins until needed.

*I think I might leave out the 2nd stick of butter!

I believe this recipe came from the late Rosemary Chatfield. Back before you could buy Chex Mix in the stores this was the way we made it for Christmas every year!
