CREAM WELL:
2 c sugar
1 stick margarine
1/2 c shortening (butter or Crisco)

ADD:
5 egg yolks (save whites)

ADD:
2 c sifted flour
1 c buttermilk
1 c soda
1 c flake coconut
1/2 c chopped pecans

BEAT:
5 egg whites and fold in

BAKE : in 3 9" layer pans at 350 for 25 min.

8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 stick softened margarine
1 box confectioners sugar
1 t vanilla

Beat till smooth. Add 1/2 c chopped pecans. You may also add a cup of coconut to the frosting.
