5 slices Bacon, cooked
1 lb Peas, frozen
1/4 Red onion
1 T Lemon juice
1/3 c Mayonnaise
1/4 c Ranch dressing
As desired salt and pepper
3 oz Cheddar
1/3 c Sour cream

Directions:
Directions:
Place frozen peas into a colander and place that into a bowl. Pour hot water over them to thaw them. Drain well. In a bowl, add the sour cream, onion, mayo, ranch dressing, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Mix well. Place the peas into a bowl and mix the dressing into the peas. Fold half of the bacon and all of the cheese into the salad. Garnish with remaining bacon. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to let the flavors settle.

This salad takes just a few minutes to whip up…but it’s best to let it chill for a good hour before serving it to give all the flavors a chance to blend. Lake 2017, 2022, Easter 2024
