Lemon Poppy Seed Bread Recipe

2 cups flour
3 large eggs
1 1/3 cup sugar
2 tsp baking powder
3/4 tsp salt
2 tblsp poppyseeds
grated lemon zest
1 tblsp vanilla
1 1/2 cup heavy cream
1 1/4 cup powdered sugar
2 1/2 tblsp lemon juice

Spray and line 2 loaf pans with waxed paper - then dust with flour.

Combine dry ingredients in small bowl. In mixer add eggs, heavy cream and vanilla add dry ingredients and mix on low just until blended. Beat on medium 15 seconds until batter is smooth. Spread mixture in loaf pans and bake 35-40 minutes on 350. Cool in pans for 10 minutes. Remove and continue to cool.

Whisk together powdered sugar and lemon juice until smooth. Drizzle over loaves - let stand until glaze sets.
