3/4 cup Lard
1/2 cup Margarine
2 cups Dark Brown Sugar
2 Eggs
4 cups Flour
1/4 tsp. Salt
1/2 tsp. Baking Soda
2 tsp. Cinnamon
1/2 tsp. Nutmeg
1/2 tsp. Ground Cloves
1/2 tsp. Ginger

Directions:
Directions:
Beat together first four ingredients. Add dry ingredients and knead (I use the dough hook attachment on my Kitchen Aid Mixer)

Form into shapes desired.

Bake at 350f
Lg. Gingerbread men about 8-10 minutes
Sm. Gingerbread men about 6 minutes
Sm. Balls for Peppernoten - depending on size, 8-10 minutes
