2 lbs. ground beef
2 eggs, slightly beaten
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 c. milk
1 c. or more ketchup
1-2 sleeves of saltine crackers, crushed in plastic bag

c. ketchup
2 tbsp. brown sugar

Meat Loaf: Combine first 8 ingredients well with hands or wooden spoon. Put into 9 X 13 greased pan, cover with foil and bake at 350 for 1 hour. Remove foil.

Topping: Mix ketchup and brown sugar in a small bowl. Sometimes I add a little mustard or Worcestershire sauce or vinegar!) Spread this topping on the meat loaf and return it to the over for 10 minutes or so.
